Guidelines for Handling Supporting Documents Certifying the Subject Qualification in Foreign-related Cases
On December 19, 2023, the Beijing Intellectual Property Court(BIPC) released the "Guidelines for Handling Supporting Documents Certifying the Subject Qualification in Foreign-related Cases". It provides guidance for the qualification certificate document processing of parties and agents involved in foreign-related cases from six countries: the United States, France, Germany, Belgium, Japan, and South Korea. The document covers supporting documents, document forms, and notarization and authentication procedures, and provides examples of documents. For instance, it may require the inclusion of a certificate of good standing, supporting documents for the signature authority, etc.
