Define

Trademark registration refers to the legal fact that the owner of a trademark, in order to obtain the exclusive right to use the trademark, applies for registration with the Trademark Office in accordance with the registration conditions, principles, and procedures stipulated by the state. After examination, the Trademark Office approves the registration. A trademark that has been reviewed and registered by the Trademark Office is a registered trademark and enjoys the exclusive right to use the trademark.

Domestic trademark search refers to the process by which an applicant for trademark registration or their agent, before filing a registration application, checks whether the trademark they apply for is identical or similar to the previous trademark.

1. Time required for domestic trademark registration
The application for trademark registration requires about 3 months to receive the acceptance notice, about 9 months to enter the announcement period, and about 13 months to issue the certificate
